“Alaw Grug Evans made an engaging Belinda, singing with freshness and musical poise”
— Art Scene in Wales

“Alaw Grug Evans sang ‘Io de’ sospiri’ beautifully in Act III, but she was also presented as a young Tosca who assisted the Sacristan with odd jobs in the church. She acted this silent role in Act I superbly and her reaction to Cavaradossi’s ‘Recondita armonia’ was deeply moving…”

Shepherd Boy & Chorus in Tosca (Puccini) West Green House Opera

“Nor should the smaller roles go unremarked, because this is a production in which everyone acts with attention to detail…Alaw Grug Evans is charming as the shepherdess, here reimagined as the sacristan’s assistant, washing the painter’s brushes as she sings.”
